La Botte Piccola Wine Company specializes in Washington State wines delivered in stainless steel kegs poured using a traditional tap system. Serving the restaurant, catering and retail community, our 100% reusable keg containers give our customers a unique economic and environmental advantage over standard bottle packaging.
A Nod to Tradition:
La Piccola’s wine is a return to our roots for years serving wine direct from the barrel was the traditional means of providing local wine to the community. With the benefit of technology, we can preserve that tradition yet still deliver a high quality, local product. Similar to the wonderful local wines found across Europe today, these are quality wines meant to be enjoyed now. Our company’s goal is to deliver the highest quality product in the most efficient manner possible. We realized that the best solutions are often the simplest and that the methods used by our ancestors are still valid today albeit with a slight twist.
A fine blend
Our journey started with a respect for tradition and an eye to future as we took some of our ancestors best ideas and adapted them to our current environment. We all share a love of good wine and a common philosophy less can be more. Our group is diverse in background but unified in mission – providing our customers with quality wine in an innovative package priced to provide exceptional value.
Our founder, Diana Kaspic, comes from a long career in finance and has been a dedicated vinophile for years. The genesis for Piccola Cellars came from her final marketing project at Central Washington University’s World Wine Certificate program. Challenged to develop a new brand, she went one better and took an old idea and made it new again. Once she started exploring the possibilities and benefits of packaging wine in keg form there was no looking back. Corralling three of her most talented and committed friends, they started La Botte Piccola Wine Company, and are having a blast bringing great wine directly to your doorstep.
